Is this not gorgeous??? It's pasta with shrimp, fresh basil, sun-dried tomatoes, and a creamy tomato sauce. And it was absolutely amazing. Organic Kid snarfed it up, and I think it was Organic Guy's favorite pasta that I've made.
Lately the cooking mojo has been great. Tonight was ribs slow cooked then finished on the grill. Tomorrow will involve a cous cous salad with lemon, carrots and snow peas. I have been so happy with the cooking thing. Hopefully this is a sign of how this summer will go. Things will just hang together, be gorgeous, and make me happy.

Ok it's settled. We're both gonna quit. Since you now have a little extra time on your hands...can i hire you as a full time cook??? That pic looks yummy! And, I can't cook. I tell my kids I'm making grilled cheese sandwiches, they call their grandma and ask if they can eat at her house.
And thanks for the "it ROCKS!" comment. Big boss man had said people thought that in chicago, but, well...I think he only tells me that to avoid having to pay me the oodles and oodles of chocolate he must owe by now. Seriously, glad everyone liked it. Working out one last lil bug now then it should be ready to roll.
Mail me some food :-) and take care of you!
recipe please?
I made this last night- couple things:
I used dry herbs instead of fresh, and I didn't have enough Parsley. If you use dry herbs, use a bunch!
Also, I found that a pound of penne pasta was too much. I let the sauce cook for about 10 minutes cause it looked to soupy to me. When I combined it with the pasta, there was too much. I'm thinking 1/2 to 3/4 lb. pasta would be just about right.
Even with all these issues though, my family loved this recipie!
